"When people understand their own style and the gift that they can bring to a team; when they know how to acknowledge and benefit from the differences in other people, then the culture (and the Unwritten Ground Rules) of the organization become clear.
Once people know their strengths, then weaknesses can be seen as an overuse or under use of those strengths, and can be easily compensated for.
It is then that both businesses and people can prosper." |

Carol received her formal education at the University of California, Los Angeles. Graduating with a teaching credential, she then taught for 15 years in public high school, colleges, and universities.
Additionally, Carol studied for her M. Sc. Counseling degree from San Diego State University and then turned her love for and interest in people to finding out more about what makes them “tick.”
Through her search, she found the DISC Profiling Systems model and has never looked back. She has specialized in the use of DISC since 1979 and undertook advanced training and certification in DISC Personality and Role Profiling.
PeopleSmart-Solutions is Carol Dysart’s DISC Consulting division of her company Peoplesmart Enterprises LLC.
Peoplesmart-Solutions provides DISC profiling and DISC interpretation to individuals, and to corporate clients, for their staff and clients, seminars and training.
Peoplesmart-Solutions offers world-wide consulting,
to seminar leaders, corporate trainers, hiring managers, employees, businesses and individuals, demonstrating the very practical nature of DISC Personality Profiling.
Carol and her consultants help clients to understand themselves and how the application of the DISC Profile Reports can improve teamwork, impact positively on organizational dynamics and increase bottom line profits.
She regularly trains independent clients and internal corporate consultants to become certified in the Peoplesmart DISC Profiling system.
Carol has worked with the Excellerated Business Schools’ “Money & You”® and “Business School for Entrepreneurs”® programs since 1980 as an instructor and international consultant.
As an instructor and consultant, Carol profiles each participant in the programs and offers the DISC Profile Report and an interpretation overview throughout the course of the events. She also teaches the instructors to interpret the profiles and interpersonal dynamics.
Carol Dysart has written several books on DISC, on subjects such as profiling, interpretation, sales and other current topics. Her DISC books and programs are often sponsored by her client organizations and customized for their employees, agents, and customers.
Carol authored the “People-Smart” chapters for “Money-Making Systems: For People Who Work with People”, written by DC Cordova, CEO/Co-founder, Excellerated Business Schools® and Money & You® Program.
Carol Dysart’s clients represent every industry and include corporations and entrepreneurial organizations, universities, and governments in the USA, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia.
Carol and her DISC certified consultants work with individuals, HR executives and their teams, Corporate Trainers and Seminar Presenters, committed to creating the best in everyone, improving workplace harmony, maximizing productivity and boosting sales results by providing the best work environments possible for all their clients.
Carol teaches that maximizing the power in people is a three part program:
-
Know and understand yourself – your strengths, weaknesses, and points of stress or tension with differing styles, what you want and need and how to teach others what you want, to gain optimal satisfaction, productivity, and effectiveness.
-
Know the Vision and Mission of the relationship or organization you are involved in, participating fully and using your gifts to support its goals and objectives.
-
Know how to relate best to the people around you, adapting your own style as needed to positively impact your job and daily life.
Through the use of DISC profiling, everyone starts to find meaning and purpose because they feel “heard,” understood, and valued when they learn about themselves and how to share it with others - rather than feeling trapped, under appreciated, and stressed.
Carol’s clients learn first to understand their own DISC graph and what it shows about their own strengths and weaknesses. Then they learn how to “read” what the graph shows about other peoples’ styles.
With just a little practice, confidence builds from seeing how to apply the basic information from a graph into management, hiring, sales, negotiations, and all the many interpersonal relationships that business and personal life brings.
Carol now shares her wisdom with key executives, speakers, coaches, sales trainers, and seminar leaders how to use this powerful tool in their own consulting.
DISC is a simple-to-learn and understand language that brings people closer – especially those who work or live together. It is already regarded all over the world as the "Universal Language" for people literacy.
Carol helps people "go beyond" their own profile and truly choose the behaviors they need. Once people experience Carol's interpretation they see themselves and their team members in a new way.
Among her many professional activities, Carol is currently working with or has served as:
-
A regular guest on TVOne's popular Good Morning Show, as their "Relationship Facilitator" expert.
-
Guest Instructor at UNITEC where Carol administered and interpreted the Personal Style Analysis Profile for each MBIE candidate and followed up with personal coaching as needed.
-
Master DISC Coach for Excellerated Business Schools, Carol mentors "Money & You" and Business School participants and graduates all over the world in understanding themselves and others better.
As resident resource person at each Business School for Entrepreneurs and Business School for Investors, she trains people to become DISC Consultants or just to use DISC more powerfully in their own business or life. She shows consultants how to apply the various uses of the Personality and Job Style DISC Analysis to solve work challenges and build teams.

-
